Basford scores within the 1st minute of the game, a ball over the top, which lead to miscommunication in the between Dave Parton and the defence and Liam Hearn took it off the toe of the defender and put the ball past Dave Parton.

Minutes later Basford had a chance as Rob Duffy played through James Reid, his shot was wide.

The second goal then came for Basford, Fernando Bell-Toxtle found the bottom corner on the left hand side after a flick on from Rob Duffy.

It got worse for the Grove after James Reid turned his man and slotted past Dave Parton.

Grove then had a chance through Ross Davidson, the ball was played back to him and he hit his shot hight and wide.

Ball played over to the right, Basford player Liam Hearn cuts has the ball taken off him, only for the ball to be taken back of the grove defender and slots into the bottom corner.

Grove then had the best chance of the game so far, as the base of the post was hit and rebounded wide.

The ball was put in the back of the net just before the second half but the linesman pulled it back for offside.

Grove were dealt with another blow as Ant Malbon went off injured.

Basford then added a fifth through Kieran Wells.
