Goals from Nick Wellecomme (2), Dan Skelton and Ant Malbon made it a memorable evening for Grove as they secured their fourth win in four games.

Grove started well with some intricate build up play causing the visitors problems, Jordan Johnson's 30 yard strike was fired just over as the home side too control of the game. In fact the visitors only real chance of the first half was when Danks fired wide.

Nick Wellecomme came close when a long punt found its way through the Tividale defence, only to see the former Rangers strikers effort dragged wide of Turner's post.

It was the same combination that led to Grove's 38 minute opener, Malbon's snapshot was fumbled by Turner and the in form Wellecomme slid in to make it 1-0.

It was a relatively controlled first half for Grove, but the visitors came out a different side at the start of the second half, when Brown's trickery and pace from the left saw Kidsgrove's defence worried only to see his effort curled over Chapman's bar.

So it was a relief on 66 minutes when Wellecomme's second goal of the evening capped off a wonderful team move where Malbon once again assisted the frontman leaving the fans purring. Chants of "it's just like watching Brazil" were even sung.

Dan Skelton's introduction after the goal was probably to try and manage Grove's lead, but Skelton's energy to win the ball back and left footed strike into the top corner, showed Grove weren't finished. 3-0 and a wonderful goal from the former Newcastle Town man.

Ant Malbon's performance had been built on his assisting to his team mates, so when he drove inside from the left hand side and fired home, it was fitting that the 23 year old Captain got on the scoresheet in a wonderful win.

Lewis Bergin picked up the man of the match award for his solid and commanding display at the back, he helped Grove to their first home clean sheet of the season.

So Grove's great form continued, they go into Saturday's FA Trophy match with Loughborough Dynamo with 4 wins in their last 4 games, the first time they have done that since 2012.
