It was a week of mixed emotions for Kidsgrove Athletic, beginning with disappointment as we fell to a 2-1 defeat against local rivals Hanley Town. A poor first-half performance left us with work to do, and although there was some improvement after the break, it wasn’t enough to get anything from the game.
However, the lads responded brilliantly with an amazing 4-2 away victory against Vauxhall Motors to round off the week on a high! A fantastic result on the road and a welcome boost for the team.
