The two clubs met earlier on this season, when a single Lee Williamson goal was the difference when the Grove progressed in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
Since that game, The Fenman have played three games; losing two and drawing one.
Despite progressing to the next round of the Integro League Cup against Warrington on Monday, Grove boss Ryan Austin gave a stark statement that the side must do more.
“All over the pitch we were unrecognisable. It’s been happening for a few weeks now and I think we got away with murder tonight. However, a bit of credit we’ve taken out of the game is we’ve shown character and got two late goals and did well to win on penalties. But it is a case of papering over many cracks.”
“We know a bit about Wisbech as we’ve played them in the last month or so , with some some consistency and getting at them early on we can come away with a positive result.”
The gaffer also spoke about the players who played on Monday and their chances of pushing into the first 11 on Saturday.
“The doors always open, every time you put on that shirt it’s a chance to get into the first team. They’ve gave us food for thought and at training tonight they can make their case to get in the team on Saturday”
