A busy week in the heat for Kidsgrove as we continued our pre-season preparations with games against Irlam and a Port Vale XI.

Tuesday night saw us on the wrong side of a closely fought contest, with Irlam edging a tight game 1-0.

We bounced back on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over a youthful Port Vale XI, producing a strong performance and plenty of positives to take into the weeks ahead.

The hard work continues as we build towards the new season.
