Myself and some family members had the pleasure of experiencing the Ian Donaldson Suite for Kidsgrove Athletic’s game against Stafford Rangers.
It was a lovely afternoon in a beautifully decorated room, with hot food available before the game and a well-stocked bar area, with football showing on the TVs.
There were just enough people in the suite to create a great atmosphere without it feeling too busy or crowded.
Before kick-off, we were able to hear from the manager with an interview about the upcoming game, followed by a brief interview after the final whistle.
The viewing balcony, situated on the halfway line, provided a brilliant view of the match and really added to the experience.
We also had the opportunity to chat with several people from the club throughout the afternoon, which made the experience feel very welcoming and personal.
Overall, it was a fantastic way to watch the game, and I’d definitely recommend the Ian Donaldson Suite to anyone looking to make their matchday experience that little bit more special.
A brilliant afternoon at the Grove
